My Great Dane cross Delilah used to be impetuous and unreliable, showing no affection towards me. Already after the first session with Barbara I noticed immediate change. Through Barbara’s coaching I learned that dogs thrive on clear boundaries, and that dog training through games is fun for both dogs and owners. My relationship with Delilah blossomed. I wanted to give our new excitable GSD puppy the best start because I realized she would be a a lot of dog for me and my kids. At Namib Dog Training I learned to handle her in different situations both on and off the leash. I learned to teach my dog many different commands but most importantly, I learned more about my dog’s personality in the training lessons, and how capable she is! Barbara provides a professional experience. My dog and I both look forward to the lesson every time.

I joined Namib Dog Training because I wanted to improve the communication with my dog, Rin. The results came surprisingly quickly, she responds to all commands that have been taught in class. I learned that it’s not only essential but fun to be able to really connect with your dog. Barbara knows her field, has loads of patience and the results are testament to this. She is also a wonderful person and Rin and I enjoy every session with her.

I decided to start training to handle my puppy better. She is my first dog and I was not prepared to deal with a hyperactive dog. After training with Barbara she is now much more obedient and disciplined. I learned how to control her when she is hyperactive and how to walk her on leash without pulling too much as she used to do. I recommend Namib Dog Training because Barbara is a very dedicated and very professional.

I have two energetic pit bull puppies, Bo & Bella. Once grown up they could be a handful. Not to mention a double dose of energy. I have joined Barbara at Namib Dog Training to build a better relationship with my dogs. When my puppy Snoopy was only two months old I started the eight week puppy class with Barbara. With easy to follow exercises Snoopy and I got off on the right foot. Under Barbara’s watchful eyes (yes, even though it was via Zoom!)   I learned how to encourage and reward his good behavior – and it did not take long and Snoopy knew what is expected from him. I learned to give clear commands (without talking much) and ensure that Snoopy always had fun while training. I can only recommend the puppy classes with Barbara for a fun way to learn how to get the best out of you and your puppy. With access to many resources I can always go back and look or read up in case I forgot something or need some new ideas to keep Snoopy entertained and happy. Happy training!
